Success with breast cancer after only 2 months on Budwig!
This is my first post, though I have been reading posts for about 3 months. In May of 08 I felt a lump in my right breast. I did what we have all been trained to do....I scheduled a mammogram. I was told that the lump was nothing to worry about and told to return in one year. With an impending insurance change (for the worse) I scheduled a complete physical with my regular GP at the end of Dec. I wasn't worried about the lump (even though it had grown significantly) since I'd been told that it was nothing to worry about. My GP felt otherwise and scheduled another mammogram immediately. It had indeed grown and a biopsy was done. Positive for estrogen based cancer.
Fortunately it was during the holidays and it took several days to get an appointment with an oncologist. That delay was pivotal for me. A sweet daughter in law asked me to explore alternatives before seeing an oncologist. From the first research, I was sure I would be able to find something better than poisoning my protective systems. When I did finally see the oncologist, I did not commit to the recommended surgery, radiation and chemo.
On Jan 1, I started drinking vegetable juice exclusively. I continued this compete juice fast (and stopped taking the prescribed estrogen and lipitor) for 17 days while my husband and I did nothing but research my options.
In mid January I started on the Budwig diet (plus supplements) I also sent a test to Dr Navarro in the Phillipeans. It came back 54.
My second test with came back yesterday (2 and a half months since starting) and my score is down to 51.
I no longer take the supplements since I have started using using the Beck zapper.
The breast lump is now small and hard. I have lost excess weight. A large lump on my heel (diagnosed as a cholesterol lump on my tendon) has shrunk and I now walk with ease. For the past 5 years I have limped when able to walk at all.
In every way my health has improved. I tease my family that getting cancer was the best thing that could have happened to me. Now I have healthy eating habits and a full appreciation for the positive and vital feeling of taking care of my own health. The Budwig protocol is the core of my treatment. Though I use other things, (zapper, supplements some of the time) the Budwig diet is what I credit my good health with. I find it very easy to adhere to. I do not cheat at all, nor have I been tempted to.
I have not returned to my doctors, nor do I plan to until my tests are in the normal range...which they nearly are. I feel it is important for me to stay focused and not be distracted by their "concerns".
All this in less than three months....what an amazing journey I feel I have been on.....from being scared frozen at the verdict of cancer to putting it in perspective as a nutritional deficiency. Best of all I am free of fear.

Amazed!
Just wanted to post my good news today. I started Budwig Protocol on 2/7 after results from a PET CT scan in late January showed relapsed mediastinal NHL with mets in the lungs. Scans from last Thursday, 4/2, showed no activity left in the mediastinum and very low uptake activity in the lungs with shrinkage in all nodules. I am absolutely amazed that it worked this fast although I feel healthier than I can ever remember. Thanks to everyone for your support.
Keep the faith, it works!

Pleasantly surprised!
My wife developed a rapidly growing skin tumor on her face. I ran across the Budwig Protocol in doing my research on nutrition and cancer. The claims of a cure rate that exceeded 90% seemed far fetched, but after looking through the mailing list archives and the success stories in the files area I thought it was worth trying. However, before doing so, I looked up almost every food contained in it via searches through nutrition journals and cancer journals and found that there appeared to be good reason to believe that it was a diet that would have preventative and even restorative promise.
So, we switched on a dime and to our surprise, my wife's tumor stopped growing, turned hard and shrunk and then fell off - with clear skin underneath! (It did initially start to grow faster and look nastier than ever, but that stage did not last long). We did not expect this outcome at all. What we expected was to strengthen my wife's immune system ahead of surgery, so that her long term outcome would have been a good one.
I have since that time, run across enough people with similar outcomes that I have come to believe and expect that nutrition can prevent and heal cancer and many other diseases.
We can't choose our genes and we can't change the nutritional sins of the past. All we can do is feed our cells the nutrition that doesn't promote the expression of the weak or harmful genes - and that does promote the apoptosis of the ones that have become abberant.

This letter recently appeared from Herman, about the success his wife is experiencing with her Stage 4 breast cancer after three months on Budwig.
Dear all, I am posting on behalf of my wife, who has followed BP for 3 months ... ---------------------------------------------------------- Dear all Budwig followers,
First of all, I have to thank the Health Group members, especially Meg, Janice and a few other members. Their help is much appreciated. Without their support, I don't think I can keep my determination in following Budwig protocol. Of course, I have to say a big 'Thank You' to this marvelous and clever lady Dr Johanna Budwig, who has saved my life. I would like to share my experience here.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer with hormone receptor, stage II, in Sept 2006. In end July 2008, my cancer had spread. CT scans and MRI showed that my bones (especially spine), liver and lymph are heavily affected. A few discs of my spine had fractures. I was in stage IV. My oncologist changed me from Tamoxifen to Femara. In less than 2 years, my cancer had spread to other parts of my body because the cancer cells are the most aggressive one. The main problem was that the oncologist in the hospital had not been monitoring the cancer spreading at all. No test or scan was done after my chemo finished in March 2007 of my first diagnosis.
In mid Aug 2008, the radiologist put me on Radiotherapy - 14 times in total to treat the fracture of the discs of my spine. When the radiotherapy finished, the oncologist was very pushy in asking me to start chemo right away. He scared me to death when I said 'no' to chemo treatment. We have to be firm when we say 'no'. At that moment I had already started following Budwig protocol and knew that chemo was against it.
I started Budwig protocol gradually in mid Aug 2008. I took Femara for 11 days only and then stopped taking any anti-hormone medicine. I'm only on 10 mg Oxycontin twice a day to treat my bone pain.
Below is my blood test history which shows my cancer marker(s):
29/8/08 CA15.3 = 4500 (normal range = 0 - 50) CEA = 7.4 (normal range = 0 - 5.0)
15/9/08 CA15.3 = 1558 CEA not tested this time
14/10/08 CA15.3 = 1139 CEA = 2.6 (note: this shows that this marker is not accurate because it is within normal range but I still have cancer in my body)
14/11/08 CA15.3 = 571
This shows that Budwig protocol really works and works very well. Best wishes, Cindy ---------------------------------------------------------- Best regards, Herman Posted in the Flaxseed Oil support group 2009

Great news!
I hope that people who are skeptical about Budwig read this. I have been on the protocol for a year and a half and haven't eaten any forbidden foods but also have never managed two raw drinks a day and sometimes not even one and MY TUMOR MARKER has dropped another another 37 points to - can you believe it? 14!
Boy, this works. I am so excited.
For the new people, I am supposedly stage 4 metastasized breast cancer.
Happy new year to everyone, Jenny (Jennifer)

Success in three months!
When my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer, and opted out of traditional treatments after two weeks, I thought he had signed his death sentence. But not being a passive person, I went online to find what I could about other choices. The education I received was both profound and heartbreaking.
We found that traditional treatments of chemo/radiation and surgery (the last was not an option for him) caused more harm than good, and that alternative therapies are hidden from the mainstream insured patient who believes "the doctors know best". There were forums where, if you presented any success outside of the usual "cut/poison/burn" mentality, your posts would be flagged for deletion.
There are choices for cancer patients, and many of those choices will not be available through U.S. medical care except by courageous doctors who treat the patient as a participant, and actually listen to them. They are hard to find, because if they actually prescribe alternative treatments, their license may be pulled.
My search online found many resources, yet our insurance/HMO knew and shared nothing of them. We found a fabulous web site, done by a man who lost his first wife to breast cancer with traditional treatment, and has spent the last 18 years sifting through alternative treatments for their efficacy and sound research. We opted to do six of the protocols.
My husband's cancer is GONE (healed) now, just three months later, because of one doctor whose name you will never see associated with the AMA or the ACF - Dr. Johanna Budwig, from Germany. She was nominated for SEVEN Nobel Prizes for her work, but never won even one, because of the politics of the powerful insurance companies. (She passed away in 2003.) Why? Because her protocol is available to anyone, anywhere, and the pharmaceutical companies cannot make any money off it, as they do with the chemo treatments.
I imagine everyone knows someone who is going with traditional "therapies" who could benefit from sharing the Budwig Protocol, and many people have friends who have died from the "cure" that chemo/surgery/radiation was supposed to provide. I am reminded of the cartoon where the doctors are looking over the autopsy report and doing a "high five" saying "We sure got that tumor!"

I love my new life!
Hello. In December 2008 I could no longer walk, sign my name, open a bottle of water, or even dress myself. I started the Budwig diet - have followed it every day since December - now I even look forward to it.
Bottom line - I can do everything I use to do, just like normal, plus can even do it better. I feel great, I look good, full of energy, and my big tummy is almost gone.
I swear by the Budwig plan, and would never go back to eating dead lifeless food. I will never again touch processed food of any means. I love my new life.
